Fruit just wants to be sliced open, allowing for the bounty of sweetness within. Halfbrick’s Fruit Ninja is satisfying the desire of iPhone gamers to do just that and has worked its way to the top of the charts prompting the studio to release an update. Version 1.01.1 makes the whole act of slicing through flying fruit that much smoother. There’s to be a major gameplay update coming sometime next week so look out for that too. I’ve always been tempted to download Fruit Ninja every time I see it in the ‘top paid’ apps list and I think the lo-fi awesomeness of the trailer above has helped me make a decision!
