In case you missed it, Quantum Theory, Tecmo Koei’s answer to Gears of War, is bundled up into demo form and sitting on PSN right now. It’s just shy of 760MB (so may take a while to download…) and allows players to make up their own minds as to whether the similarities to Epic’s joyful Locust stomper are flattering or downright theft. According to readers of Siliconera – where the story originates – it’s less than inspiring. If true this is a terrible shame as the mechanics of Gears coupled with a Japanese-centric world and art-style sounded great. PS3 gamers can see for themselves although sadly Xbox 360 players have to hold on for a unknown amount of time as the demo has been delayed on XBLA. Not again!
