If you wanted to make a piece of art from the corpses of others, it’s likely you’d end up in prison. To fill a rather muddy patch in the art world and push the limits of what makes a first person shooter, a group of French students have made something called White. Still in their first year at ENJMIN, the Graduate School of Games and Interactive Medias in Angoulême, the students created a world that acts as a canvas with little multi-coloured creatures called Calvis. When you formally introduce them to the ammo in you various guns, they explode scattering their colour onto the canvas thus creating art. Players are welcome to share their blood-stained genius at the official site where you can also pick up the PC game for free. Not bad for a few months work eh?
