Transformers gets massively-multiplayable

The Transformers license has further expanded its video game catalogue with the addition of a massively-multiplayer online game. The unnamed project has been confirmed by Hasbro and is to be developed by NetDragon whose previous work includes Dungeon Keeper Online. Curiously, the role-player will only be released in China, Asia, Russia, the Middle East and North Africa. That’s not to say that it won’t ever come to Europe or the US but we won’t be the first to experience a world full of transforming avatars. This could of course be a blessing as the only thing official about the game is that it’s being made – we have no idea as to what Transformers universe it’ll be based on. I would hope that it follows the enjoyable Transformers: G1 Awakening and even Transformers: War for Cybertron, sticking with the creditable early generations.
