In a few weeks, Microsoft’s Summer of Arcade will come to a close with Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light which adds a new dimension to the franchise. There’ll be puzzles a plenty and co-operative play but as this latest trailer shows, a decent amount of shooting too. Luckily the ancient temples Ms Croft and her buddy find themselves in have things like flame-throwers and rocket launchers just lazying around, waiting to be used and abused. Another feature shown in the trailer is the artifact system allowing for customisation of weapons and abilities. It’s looking good and a fine way to end the Summer of Arcade which starts so brilliantly this Wednesday.
Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light is out August 18th on XBLA for 1,200 MS Points (£10.28/€14.40/$15).
