For a short time it was looking like we in Europe would be missing out on Suda 51’s twisted sequel of assassinations and female exposure but Rising Star Games today announced that they will indeed be releaseing No More Heroes 2 on the Wii across Europe towards the end of April. Once again Travis Touchdown, the lovable Otaku must fight his way to the top of the United Assassins Association and unlike the first game, Europeans will be getting the full un-editied experience – which means plenty of blood. Martin Defries, managing director, Rising Star Games said:
“[No More Heroes 1] was one of the few games on the Wii that truly deserved the undivided attention of gamers across all formats and No More Heroes 2 promises to take this to the next level.”
Normally such comments should be taken with a pinch of salt but reviews of the US version seem to back up the statement. Gone is the lifeless open-world areas making for a game that Suda 51 said he always wanted to make. And now he has. Well done him.
