LittleBigPlanet receives a major update today inspired by cheese. Well, the name is anyway. Leerdammer is also known as update 1.21 and adds a splattering of things including a rewrite to the networking code that should finally make online play an enjoyable experience rather then an embarrassing glitch. Media Molecule has tweaked it so that the game searches for people who are closer to our location hopefully leading to a better ping for when we want to play online. There’s no mention of how this effects (if at all) playing with friends that could be considerably further away but it’s a start. Fasting saving times have been added as well as an increased number of photos and costumes can be saved to the Popit – double what was previously possible. The LittleBigStore has been made easier to navigate too and sticker switches are now more noticeable resulting in less confusion which is always a good thing! The rest of the fixes can be found at littlebigplanet.com.
